Geisha La Cuesta • Filter • Lavender, Jasmine, Blueberries

CHF 32.00

This stunning washed Geisha from Finca Isabel originates from their La Cuesta microlot, perched right under the forest canopy surrounding their farm in Loayza, Bolivia. Working alongside our partner producers, we always seek to push innovation. In this case, while the lot has undergone a classic washed post harvest processing method, it was then brought to El Alto at 4000 masl, and slowly dried in a controlled dark room. Testing just started but we think it gave the coffee a specially high clarity flavor profile and highlights the botanical aspect of the Geisha variety in the cup: intense florals of jasmine and lavender, lemongrass and an underlying depth of blueberries.

This coffee is a light roast, while you will be tempted to open it earlier, we recommend you’d wait 3-4 weeks after roasting date to start brewing it as the long resting time really develops its full potential.
