How are my coffees and other items being shipped?

Upon order receival, your coffee is freshly roasted on demand, thus ensuring that the coffee is shipped the same day. To preserve its flavor we only ship whole beans, as ground coffee loses its volatile aromas within only 15 minutes. We therefore believe that the best investment you can make in your coffee journey is a good quality grinder. According to our experience with the coffees we offer, the best cup profile can be achieved starting 5 (filter coffees) to 7 (espresso roasts) days after the roasting date.

Please be advised that for shipments outside of Switzerland and Liechtenstein, additional expenses might occur (VAT, import duties, etc), which will be invoiced to you by the courier. Unfortunately, being a small company, we cannot handle these for you.

When can I expect my order?

All orders are shipped through Swiss Post and should arrive either the next working day (Priority) or within 2 to 3 working days (Economy).

All our domestic shipments through Swiss Post are carbon-neutral, as unavoidable greenhouse gasses are offset through the “Pro Clima” label.

All orders outside of Switzerland are tracked and should approximately take between 4 and 10 days, you will receive a tracking number in our order dispatchment confirmation.

How can I return or exchange an item?

We stand proudly behind every single product we offer, so we hope you’ll love them too! Nevertheless, mishaps might happen, so we’d like to make our return or exchange process as quick, smooth and uncomplicated as possible.

Food items

According to swiss food regulations we are NOT allowed to accept returns of food items. If we messed up your order containing food items, please contact us providing a picture of the wrong item and the order or invoice number, and we will immediately send you the correct item(s) as per your original order, without the need to send us back anything. Alternatively, should you actually enjoy the wrongly sent beans, you can request a store credit for their equivalent value. In the worst case scenario, to avoid our precious coffee beans landing in the bin, please consider our awesome DIY tutorials on Pinterest for alternative uses of coffee.

Gift certificates

Gift certificates are non refundable, but anyone can use them for anything we offer on our online store.

Any other item you bought from us, can be returned as follows:

Brick and mortar store

Just bring the unopened and unused item back to our store and we will happily refund you, replace the item or give you equivalent credit to use at our store. Should you have bought it at our roastery while on vacation, or be otherwise unable to bring it back personally, please contact us to agree upon a satisfying solution.

Online store

If you registered a customer account at our store, please log in and request a return. Here you have the possibility to opt for a refund, an exchange or store credit. Should you have checked out as a guest, please contact us and we will gladly help you with the same options.

Should the item you ordered be damaged, please be sure to send us proof per photo through the support button at the bottom right of your screen before sending it back to us. Wear and tear of the packaging (even of the original box in which the product comes) during shipping, which hasn’t affected the product itself, does not count as a damaged product eligible to be returned or exchanged.

After communication of the issue to us, either through your customer account or per support chat, approved returns can be shipped using the provided shipping label.
